Riccarton Club 2011 Executive

Who on your executive is responsible for which area of activity?

Marketing, Promotions and Publicity: Norma and Pat Blanchfield

Pat - Marketing, publicity and promotionsNorma and Pat are constantly looking for new ways to attract more people to the club and to convert them to members. They organise the informative table talkers that you see on the tables each week, flyer drops and any advertising of the club and its events.

Should you have a bright idea that will help the club grow then don’t hesitate to have a chat with either Norma or Pat.

House and Supply: Dianne Chappell, Norma Blanchfield, Bev Smith

Dianne Chappell - House and SupplyThe job of this group is to ensure that the Club is getting the best deals for its supplies and that the cleaning crew are always stocked up with their needs.

They also monitor interior cleanliness and the skip (rubbish and cardboard).

Entertainment: Heather Philpott and Dianne Chappell

Heather Philpott - EntertainmentThe job of this group is to put on events that keep members engaged, such as the Tuesday spinning wheel, dancing, parties, Melbourne Cup day, NZ Trotting Cup, St Patricks day and so on.

They work very closely with the BBQ section to provide regular BBQ’s for the members and their guests.

Membership: Bev Smith

Bev is the Club most days monitoring the traffic of guests and members to make sure they are actually members and that guests have signed in. She is also responsible for encouraging visitors to become members and for random door checks to ensure patrons are current members and that guests sign in.
